President Sadyr Japarov of the Kyrgyz Republic made an announcement on the awarding of state prizes of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology and to confer the title of “Laureate of the state prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology” for work in the field of medicine.
Various professors from the International Higher School of Medicine have been honoured with the state prizes.

- Nelly Akhunbaeva – Professor of the International Higher School of Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences.
- Khaki Bebezov – Professor of the International Higher School of Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences.
- Stalbek Akhunbaev – Rector of the International Higher School of Medicine, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
- Almaz Shanazarov – Director of the Academic Center of the International Higher School of Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences.
- Arsen Aydaraliev – Advisor to the Rector of the International Higher School of Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences.
